The Awesome Music Project: Songs of Hope and Happiness sounds very interesting and I look forward to getting my hands on a copy of the book. The book features stories from over 100 well known Canadians as they share how music has shaped them in some way. The book also highlights research about the positive impact music has on mental health.
The book has served as a catalyst for an upcoming event at THEMUSEUM that will host numerous local musicians and celebrities including Danny Michel, Bob Egan, and the book's authors Robert Carli and Terry Stuart. Proceeds from this event will help support Grand River Hospital's music therapy program and CAMH research. You can purchase tickets for that event here. Read more about how the project came together and how proceeds will help fund mental health supports in this Record article. #365ofgoodWR
