Tea and Talk Newcomer Women's Group

I had the opportunity to attend a tour of Carizon as part of this past Fall's Doors Open Waterloo Region. I was blown away by how much happens in one building! The services and partnerships in this space are truly inspiring! For day 26 of #365ofgoodWR I want to highlight just one of the programs offered at Carizon, called Tea and Talk. It is offered in partnership with Reception House (who you'll hear more about in this blog soon!). This is a free group to "support and promote newcomer women's well-being and sense of belonging in the community. Women will learn about and discuss topics related to well-being, learn about resources and activities in the community, and have an opportunity to connect with other women over a cup of tea in a relaxing environment."
