![]() Did you get a chance to participate in this year's Potato Night with the Kitchener Rangers in support of House of Friendship? If not, you can still contribute to this campaign through the Supermarket Blitz. "During this one day ‘blitz’, volunteers aim to collect the equivalent (cash and potatoes) of 150,000 pounds of potatoes!" Some potatoes are used immediately by the Emergency Food Hamper Program, while others will be stored for future use. Cash donations are used to purchase more potatoes when those run out. This year’s Supermarket Blitz is set for Saturday, Feb. 9. Visit one of the following locations to donate cash or potatoes in support of the Supermarket Blitz:
