Tomorrow is Neighbours Day in Kitchener but it actually all kicks off tonight at Descendants with Neighbours Night. Neighbours Day events are offered across the city and are a great way to connect with old acquaintances and meet new friends, as well as possibly discovering a new pocket of your neighbourhood. I'll be starting my morning off at the Downtown Community Centre with a free pancake breakfast. The Victoria Park Neighbourhood Association will also be there hosting a plant swap - bring along any extra plants you have to share and/or pick up something new for your garden. Other events include garage sales, free swims, cooking classes, and live music. And that's only a small sample of the wide variety of events happening as part of this #lovemyhood initiative. It sounds like a beautiful day so hopefully you can take some time to get to know some of the folks in your neighbourhood...now I need to go listen to the theme song from Mister Roger's Neighbourhood ;) #365ofgoodWR
