![]() When I started this #365ofgoodWR project, it was only a day after learning that beloved community advocate Duff Becker had passed away. One month later, and we have just celebrated his life at a memorial service. It was an honour to attend that service and to hear about all of the ways Duff impacted people in our community. It was amazing to look around the room to see such diversity in the crowd which is a real testament to the kind of community builder Duff was. Several people commented that they still expect to see Duff in some of his usual spots downtown and I think many agreed. Others encouraged each of us to continue the work Duff was doing to create a caring, inclusive, and beautiful city. So today, I just want to remind folks of a couple of organizations with which Duff was connected that you may want to learn more about in honour of Duff. Those are the Working Centre, Waterloo Region Crossing, and the KW Living Room's Love On The Go project.
