It definitely feels like we have moved into Fall now! Which is just fine with me because Fall is my favourite season. Of course, that means that Halloween is just around the corner. I'm a fan of dressing up when I hand out candy. But I'm not a fan of the cost or waste that can come along with buying Halloween costumes. So my costumes tend to be a combination of whatever I can find laying around my house (see photo evidence below!). Needless to say then that this costume upcycling event definitely caught my eye. Hosted by the Waterloo Public Library, kids (JK age and up) can learn how to "stitch, glue, bedazzle and make your own incredible costume using recycled textiles and other materials.". It sounds like a fun and practical workshop. More details here. #365ofgoodWR
