![]() We are now on to #9 of Brent Toderian's City Resolutions and I just love this one! It states: Take every opportunity you can to participate in civic life. Linger in and enjoy good parks, places, and streets every day, not just during special events. Your very presence and engagement adds life, vitality, and safety to a place, and helps them be more enjoyable for everyone. This seems like a perfect reminder on Jane's Walk weekend as I believe Jane Jacobs would suggest very much of the same. I could see her saying, "get out there and use our streets because that simple act makes those streets safer and more vibrant for everyone!" As we (finally!) seem to have some beautiful Spring weather, today seems like a great day to get out and enjoy the streets in your neighbourhood. I'm heading off to a Jane's Walk this morning and then out for a bike ride this afternoon. How do you plan to make use of your neighbourhood streets this weekend? #365ofgoodWR
