![]() Day 4 of #365ofgoodWR highlights the Circle of Music program, an inter-generational choir which promotes "social connectivity for people living with dementia, bridging the gap between generations, and creating meaningful relationships through coming together to sing." The program is offered through a partnership between the Alzheimer Society Waterloo Region, the Murray Alzheimer Research and Education Program, and the Laurier Centre for Music in the Community. Participants include family care partners or volunteers, high school students, and persons living with dementia. They practice Thursday afternoons each week in downtown Kitchener. You can find out more by visiting their website as well as listening to a CBC piece about this initiative.
