There are many things that make a city work well that happen behind the scenes, things that we don't often think about very often...until there's a problem. One of those things is stormwater management. Thanks to an initiative through Reep, not only can you learn a little more about what's involved in managing our stormwater, you as an individual can actually help! How, you ask? By adopting a storm drain!

Clear storm drains are important in keeping the system working well and preventing flooding. So
Reep is encouraging everyone from individual homeowners and renters, to schools, to businesses to consider adopting a storm drain. "Adopting a storm drain means you are making a commitment to keep your storm drain clear of leaves, snow and other debris that prevents water from reaching it. Pick a storm drain near where you live, work or go to school." It's that easy. Reep even offers an interactive map to help in the 'adoption process'.

You can learn more about adopting a storm drain on Reep's website. So show a storm drain some love by adopting one today! #365ofgoodWR
